The Wedding Of The Year!

And this will be a special blog post, because it is for a special couple very dear to my heart. I had the absolute honour and privilege of making my baby brother's wedding cake. They are such a special and unique couple, and this cake truly reflects the elegance of their union together.

This is a 4 tiered wedding cake, hand made gumpaste calla lilies cascading down, and hand made robot bride and groom toppers. When they first met, Danny & Sara were the "wingmen" for their friends who were hooking up, and so they ended up doing the robot together on the dance floor. And from then on started a beautiful relationship.

Congratulations to my baby brother and his beautiful wife Sara! Wishing you nothing but God's abundant blessings over you both. I love you so much ♥

A Birthday Boy & His Balloons

Here is a cake I made for a first birthday. Thanks to Lesley from Royal Bakery for her awesome Cloud Tutorial, they really make a huge difference! And it was my first time using a silhouette, and I must say, I really love the effect of it.

Gender Reveal

Who has heard of a gender reveal cake? It's the newest thing going around. Whoever invented this idea was a genius! What a great way to surprise the couple and close family and friends of what the gender is of the couple's new bun in the oven!

I had the honour of making this cake for one of my dearest and closest friends. How did I get so lucky to have such amazing people in my life, I'll never know!

And from the pic you can see, it's a girl!!!

Congratulations Asha and Mike on the newest and FIRST born on the way. SHE is going to be a darling little angel! xoxo
