I am always honoured when parents ask me to make cakes for their baby dedications or baptisms to the church. It is a very big deal to the family. Simply put, parents who dedicate a child are making a promise to God to do everything within their power to raise their child in a godly way, prayerfully until he or she can make a decision on his or her own to follow God.
This baby cake was for a sweet little boy named Keshan. As simple as it looks, it is that simple elegance that makes this cake so perfect for such an occasion. You can't see the writing all around the cake but as requested from his mom, I wrote "Bundle of Joy, Bundle of Love, A Special Gift, From Heaven Above." Isn't that just the sweetest thing ever?!
